How to cite a podcast in APA

To cite a podcast in a reference entry in APA style 7th edition include the following elements:
- Host of the podcast episode: APA 7 suggests adding the host or executive producer of the podcast as the author, if available.
- Date the episode was released: Give the year, month and day in brackets followed by a full stop, e.g. (2019, June 13).
- Title of the podcast episode: Only the first letter of the first word and proper nouns are capitalized.
- Host(s) or executive producer(s) of podcast: APA 7 suggests adding the host or executive producer of the podcast as the author, if available.
- Episode number: Give the episode number if available.
